Photo Of The Day – Love Is In The Air

In February this old oak takes on a little color.   It always catches my attention and makes me smile and  wonder if there is more significance to the heart than I know.

Maybe it is for the long-lost lover that left for war and never returned, or the reminder of the beginning of a lifetime of love.  Did it once stand in a field or near an old homestead where children played?

Love is in the air
In the whisper of the trees
Love is in the air
In the thunder of the sea

And I don’t know if I’m just dreaming
Don’t know if I feel sane
But it’s something that I must believe in
And it’s there when you call out my name

Happy Valentines Day!
