My apologies for my recent absence. You say you didn’t notice? Seriously, there hasn’t been a chicken picture on the blog in four whole days.
Anyway, I’ve been a little under the weather: Stuffy, Coughy, Sneezy, Raspy, Chilly,…all those Seven Dwarf symptoms. But, with the help of Jo’s soups, I am feeling much better, just in time for the arrival of a springtime cold front. I don’t need an excuse to stay in my fluffy robe and eat soup, but today, kind of, demands it.
So, I raise my bowl in salute: here’s to clearing skies, warmer temps and the healing effects of broccoli and cheese.
I think I see brighter days on the horizon.
