Fort Worth, Texas is well-known for its western heritage, rodeo’s, cattle, and stockyards. Tourists flock to North Main to take in a cattle drive, visit the western shops, visit a real western saloon, and eat the best steaks in the west. A little south and west of North Main, just across the Trinity River, beauty, peace, and tranquility can be found in the lush Botanic Gardens, Japanese Gardens, and Trinity Park.
Yesterday we ventured into the big city to visit the gardens. I questioned this decision when I remembered it was also “spring break’ but the crowds must have all been at the zoo and museums. We wondered & visited, feed the fish, and enjoyed the beauty. A great family day.
